Theme
Auto follows your device's light/dark setting. Smart adapts to ambient light where available, otherwise local time.
Wind Trail Length
How far back the wind trail is drawn on the map. Nearest-station matching always uses up to 12h of history regardless of this setting.
Show the dashed wind-trail lines behind each pin. Off by default to keep the map uncluttered.
While using Trace Possible Source: purple at the tracer pin, fading to red then orange toward each matched report, then a yellow tail continuing ~5km further along the wind past the report -- brightening back toward orange wherever it crosses another report's trail.
Source Heatmap
The flame button shows a plain concentration heatmap: one weighted point per report, so brighter/redder areas simply mean more (and stronger, more recent) reports nearby.
